Google has paired up its Translator with its personal RSS aggregator, Reader. I use Google Reader everyday. I think its such a great application. Instead of having to navigate to fifty different blogs a day I’m provided with a space where I can see all of their updates in one spot.
Now that Reader has the ability to translate, internet users around the globe will no longer be held back by language. I’m interested to trying this out. I would love to read about digital media from a Japanese blog or band reviews from a French music site.
Keep it up, Google!
I learned…
In a great piece written over at the Artists House Music Blog, Andrew Goodrich breaks down what he believes are the healthy traits of a successful music business. He explains that in a such a buyer heavy market, the keys to keeping an entity healthy lie in creating value in absolutely everything you do.
His four main traits of a healthy (music)business are:
Have an easily identifyable competitive advantage.
Constantly strive to increase your product’s viral nature.
Create a social object through which people can build genuine connections and relationships.
Create a synergy amongst your products that points to your core competency.
I particularly love his mentioning of creating a positive feedback loop:

Thanks to @keryp on Twitter who retweeted the link for this voting badge…yes, I voted this morning and got my Starbucks after. (Too bad they didn’t extend the free coffee to include lattes.) Yes, you may think it’s last minute–at least I went this morning and not this evening. So, if you haven’t voted yet, what are you waiting for? At least the free Starbucks should be incentive.
.
Well, if you are I’d never find out anyway. If you are a regular online surfer, and are averse to posting comments–you’re a lurker. I used to justify it by believing there was never anything worth commenting about. But I think there’s more to that Let me just say I love how social media is not only engaging, but in the case of online support groups a good thing. For being such an open society, we certainly have a large number of support group site visitors who don’t contribute, preferring anonymity.IMHO I believe lurking to be a bit more justified…
Had I the time to volunteer at a grassroots level for a political candidate I would be doing so.
Mitch Joel of Twist Image and the Six Pixels of Separation Blog and Podcast has put together a new type of online conference, The Pixelated Business Conference. It’s a collection of online videos from today’s innovators and thought leaders including Clay Shirky, Seth Godin and Avinash Kaushik. Take the time over the coming weeks to consume the content and consider how it will impact your digital marketing efforts.
Right.
A few years have passed since we started using Google search engine and I remember clearly that I liked it from day one. I even remember the first days I open my Gmail account with a full 1gig for e-mails which back in the days was unreal comparing to other free on-line e-mail services. I wont forget the day I saw a full length movie on google video in great quality without leaving my own chair!
Today Google is as known as the moon, my Gmail account has more then 7.5 gigs of free space to store e-mails and my own…
Her name is Emily.
Well, actually I don’t know ‘her’ name but the article says that it’s Emily! and by sweet god they sure did a number on her. I love animation, in any form possible, computer generated or oldschool hand drawn, I have great respects for the artists who work night over night making something out of nothing. I know it’s not an easy task to draw or animate and to make it look real has always been a challenge for any animator.
So, what do we have here today? basically the best lifelike animation I have seen in a long…
Well then.
I knew it’s just a matter of time before super heroes gear will be out on the market.
I guess science is actually the super hero in this case. I wonder if it’s a great idea coming up with great ideas just for the sake of making them and realising at the end that they are turned into some game warfare toys. I love to support great ideas but if you ask me, I think that some ideas should stay inside the comic book and not out on the streets…
Here the Article I found in the BBC NEWS website.
Invisibility cloak…
Kudos to Leo Burnett (Chicago) and McDonald’s.
They have taken flat, boring billboards to the next level. Hopefully, this trio will light a fire under other agencies/ creatives/ media teams to be more innovative with their outdoor billboards.
