Okay, forgive my ignorance. Despite being a Twitter addict, I’ve yet to find out what/who the Twitterati are.

Is the term referring to Tweeters/Twitterers? Or is it what Urban Dictionary defines it as being http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=twitterati? Should I even care?

I did an online search and came up with the above, as well as http://metasearch.com/www2search.cgi?p=twitterati&l=20&s=o I’ll leave it up to the Twitter community to decide. I just find it peculiar how different people come up with different terms to refer to Twitter users…how about once and for all picking one moniker and sticking to it?
