Web 2.0 B2B Sales Lead Generation
Posted on September 10th, 2008 by Danny Laws
My colleagues and I are having a disagreement (water cooler conversation) on the most effective web media for generating B2B sales leads. I’m doing some research on the issue and came across Marketing Profs Research Insights document. It’s about 74 pages of information that describes how B2B marketers are leveraging traditional forms of media with Web 2.0 to increase lead generation. What are your thoughts on the subject of Web 2.0 media and lead generations?

The company website is the most effective in B2b, if you would just be able to know the names of the companies visiting and the pages each company visited.
- The visitors are interested as they have found your website by search or link.
- You can qualify the companies as leads based upon the pages visited and the back ground information on the company (industry, products, …).
Cold call upon these companies and increase your sales significantly.
